On Sunday, November 2, 2025 at 10AM, we gather as one community of faith to celebrate All Saints’ Day: a time of remembrance, gratitude, and hope. We will light candles in memory of members of Friedens UCC who have entered eternal life this past year, and you are invited to light a candle for loved ones who continue to shine in your heart.

Upper Perk Homeless Coalition

The Upper Perk Homeless Coalition is making plans to open the Code Blue Shelter again this year. The shelter is the house owned by Pennsburg UCC that sits right next to the church.

If you are interested in volunteering OR learning more about volunteering at the shelter, there are two volunteer training dates coming up. The Training is Sunday, November 2nd at 4:15pm

There’s also an Open House for anyone interested in checking out the Code Blue Shelter  (Pennsburg UCC house, 777 Main St. Pennsburg) on Sunday, November 2nd from 2pm to 4pm.

The Mission of the United Church of Christ

Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we are called and commit ourselves:

  • To praise God, confess our sin, and joyfully accept God’s forgiveness;
  • To proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our suffering world;
  • To embody God’s Love for all people;
  • To hear and give voice to creation’s cry for justice and peace;
  • To name and confront the powers of evil within and among us;
  • To repent our silence and complicity with the forces of chaos and death;
  • To preach and teach with the power of the living Word;
  • To join oppressed and troubled people in the struggle for liberation;
  • To work for justice, healing, and wholeness of life;
  • To embrace the unity of Christ’s church;
  • To discern and celebrate the present and coming reign of God.
